Nestled within the southwest Iowa town of Griswold sits a notable gem of Cass County, Iowa, history. Sheryl Buroughs, Sally Hansen, and Natalie Bierbaum, Cass County Museum Board members, enthusiastically discuss the 1963 birth of this historical jewel and take us on a mini tour of its vast collection.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum not only contains Cass County relics from yesteryear, but it is housed within the town's original bank and neighboring Main Street spaces.
Nostalgic relics abound throughout the site, including those of the 1950s which were part of the culture of the rolling hills of Cass County.
