"I was expected to behave myself," comments Joyce Neill, Ames, IA, daughter of an Ohio Methodist pastor and his wife.

As with countless number of 1950s kiddos, we often hear what Joyce exclaimed, "We had a lot of freedom!" With that freedom, Joyce discovered a vantage point for watching the coal trucks in southeast Ohio--"climbing lots of trees."

Joyce was an active Ohio 4-H member. You'll find humor in Joyce's description of her State Fair demonstration on the subject of "Stain Removal."

Stories of her college years at The Ohio State University and travel escapades to all seven continents with husband, Ralph, fulfill this 1950s FUN CHAT.
